AI Tools Privacy Notice

This notice applies to AI Detection Defense (Humanizer) and AI Detector, the AI tools provided by StepHow Co., Ltd. Statements about internal-network processing and AI training for WISSLY's workplace products have a different scope. See the WISSLY product Privacy Policy and AI Tools Terms.
1. What we process and why
You can rewrite text or analyze AI writing patterns without an account. When you run a tool, your text travels from your browser through WISSLY's server to that tool's external API: StealthGPT for AI Detection Defense or Pangram for AI Detector.
The browser and server mask certain email, phone number, and Korean resident registration number patterns. Masking does not guarantee anonymization. Remove names, schools, student or applicant IDs, confidential business information, and sensitive information yourself. Only submit another person's work if you have the authority to process it and transmit any personal information to the external provider.
2. Information retained by WISSLY
Input and output text are used during request processing and are not saved in the tool's database, Redis, logs, analytics events, or browser storage. We do not create result histories or sharing links. This describes the WISSLY tool application, separately from the providers' retention practices.

The server receives your network address and transforms it using a secret and the date. The original IP address is not placed in tool Redis records or analytics events. Hosting and network infrastructure may separately process access records for security and troubleshooting.
3. External providers and international processing

You may decline international transmission by not running the tool; that tool cannot then return a result. Requests pass through our server, and we do not include your browser identifier cookie or original IP address as data sent to the AI API provider.

4. Cookies and optional analytics
The essential device cookie manages usage limits. Optional analytics are sent to WISSLY's own event API only with your consent. Events exclude input, output, detection scores, and personal identifiers. Tool pages do not load advertising pixels, Channel Talk, or external visitor-analytics scripts.
You can change optional analytics consent in the analytics settings at the bottom of the tool. This updates your site-wide analytics preference while preserving your existing marketing choice. Declining does not prevent use of the tools. Blocking or deleting essential cookies in your browser can affect device-based limits; network-based limits still apply. Other WISSLY pages have their own applicable cookie settings and policies.
5. Your rights and contact
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent. As WISSLY does not retain text, we will explain what we can locate using the tool and approximate request time and assist with relevant provider procedures. Do not resend your full text or sensitive information in an inquiry.
